YES, GO HERE. This is your sign. I am OBSESSED with Lima Limon Peruvian Restaurant, and only after one trip. Let me tell you, it is without a doubt worth the drive into the depths of Kuna. You won't find authentic Peruvian food elsewhere in the Treasure Valley that tastes this fantastic. Drinks! Their menu offers several traditional Peruvian and Mexican cocktails, as well as imported and domestic beer and your familiar non-alcoholic drinks. My husband stuck with the always great Stella Artois (or so he says) and I ordered Peru's national cocktail Pisco Sour (Peruvian brandy blended with lime, egg white and jarabe de goma, garnished with bitters, 9.00). Unlike anything I had ever had before. It wasn't made very strong, but it wasn't overly sweet so you could still taste the brandy. Probably the most exotic drink I've had in a while. Yes, it does taste exotic. *FYI there are no prices on their drink menu as it is based of the market and availability of ingredients. The food was a knock out. Holy wow, it's been a while since I had food this unique, this delicious. I bellied up to the Bistec Alo Pobre (juicy grilled steak served with rice, fried plantains and fried egg, with traditional salad, 19.50). The steak was cooked absolutely perfect! It's not a huge piece, thinner and oh so tender. I LOVED the fried plantains. They were delectable, almost like a side dessert but paired so well with a bite of meal and egg. Think fireworks in your mouth. I mean you couldn't get a bad bite. Everyone went so well together. I would order this again and again. My husband ordered the most unique looking dish, Aji de Gallin a (delicious shredded chicken breast covered in yellow Peruvian pepper cream, piso bread, topped with parmesan cheese served with white rice). This dish is phenomenal! I thought I liked my dish - I liked his even more. The flavor is exquisite. Moist, tender chicken smothered in rich, creamy sauce. Reminded me of Singaporean-style curry, only a less spicy. If you're really in the food for something different, this is it. The vibe is wonderful. Lima Limon is the perfect spot if you're looking to eat someplace lowkey, laidback and friendly. There aren't many seats, and it's encouraged you make reservations, especially for weekend dinners. I enjoyed the humble, atmosphere. I did find some of the decor rather curious, but I don't know much about Peruvian artwork and culture, so it's not my place to judge. I enjoyed the boastful colors, though.

The wife and I found this place a few weeks ago and have been back quite a few times. The lady who works here is absolutely the nicest human being on earth and she can absolutely cook! We have had both sides of the menu with all of the tacos, burritos, chiles, churros, guac, and all of her dishes are stand out. Just like a ton of reviews this is a hidden gem anda must if you are passing though Kuna.

Love this place, the food and the people are amazing and make a wonderful experience! We frequent here quite often. Love to support local and hardly ever a wait for a seat! The food is fresh and delicious. The wait is a little longer as it is all cook to order but the wait staff is readily available to chat and the music is just right you can enjoy the atmosphere or have conversation at your table.

***What an awesome little gem in kuna! It's so good you'll scrape your plate clean!!*** We decided to stay local in town for our date night and chose to go to Lima Limon. We made an excellent choice! The food was amazing and the prices are great! The waitress was so sweet and helpful. The cook came out to make sure they understood our special request. They made something for us that isn't on their menu. And they did a fantastic job! Looking forward to returning with the whole family.

Had chips & salsa with guacamole. The guacamole was made fresh and outstanding. Three tacos with rice & beans on the lunch menu also very good. Service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend.
